Rooted in the ancestral traditions of Mesoamerican curanderismo, the Egg Limpia is a practice I hold with deep reverence for those who came before me. The egg is used as a vessel to absorb negative and unwanted energies from the body and energetic field, helping to bring awareness to what may be weighing on you and creating space for release, renewal, and reconnection.

Each session begins with a plática, a heart-to-heart conversation where you are invited to speak openly about what you have been carrying, the feelings and experiences surrounding it, and what is asking for your attention. This is a space for your truth to be heard, witnessed, and understood. An herbal tea will also be offered, chosen based on what is shared and what feels supportive for your session.

Throughout the session, I place intentional focus on cleansing and protecting the space, creating a grounded and sacred container for the work.

The egg is then worked over and around the body through prayer, intention, and ritual. At the close of the session, the egg is cracked open into water as part of the traditional practice. It is then carefully discarded, and we ground together and make space to integrate the experience.
